David Iskra is a bay area photographer who specializes in concert and landscape photography.
His work has been featured in magazines such as the Filter, Blurt, Culture Collide, and Flood as well as various websites and books.
In addition to shooting concerts he spends his weekends hiking and shooting the majestic landscape of California.
“Rock stars are always in motion, the lighting is chaotic and you have 3 songs to get your shot.
The mountains and stones do not move, the sun does not have a strobe effect and the Park Ranger doesn’t ask to see my pass.
These extremes have made me more aware of my surroundings and more present as I look through the lens.”
